Pizza Friday...

Lia's, Syosset

Yeah

Pizza Friday, Lia's in Syosset, we pullin' up clean

I'm borrowin' the culture but the crust still got the mean

Mozzarella stretchin' like I'm testin' the tension

Ain't even Italian but I'm settin' the intention

Sauce on the slice, heat in the voice, I keep it precise

Nonna would've nodded if she saw how I move with the price

Jericho Turnpike, this the weekly religion

If you missin' Pizza Friday, you missin' the vision

Pull up to Lia's with the windows cracked, engine low

Grandma pie with the vodka, sausage crumblin' slow

Crust got that snap like a proper decision

I'm talkin' with my hands but I'm still in position

Buffalo chicken on the side, keep the balance

They ask if I'm Italian, I just smile and stay silent

Appropriation with intention, not the tourist version

I respect the process, I just rewrote the version

Square slice or round, I don't argue with excellence

Just fold it, eat it, keep the rest of the sequence

Garlic knots in the bag like I know what I'm doin'

Back in the car with the radio movin'

Pizza Friday, Lia's in Syosset, we pullin' up clean

I'm borrowin' the culture but the crust still got the mean

Mozzarella stretchin' like I'm testin' the tension

Ain't even Italian but I'm settin' the intention

They said cultural appropriation, I said cultural appreciation

With a receipt and a tip and a proper citation

I'm not from the family, but I study the form

How the sauce hits the dough when the oven is warm

Sicilian on the side for the people who need it

Square cut, thick crust, let the cheese do the leadin'

I don't fake the accent, I just honor the flavor

Then I drive off like I never needed a savior

This ain't cosplay, this is Friday religion

One slice, two slices, keep the same disposition

Lia's on Jericho, lights on, line movin'

Pizza Friday ritual, and I'm still improvin'

Yeah...

Zero Balance The Algorithm

By
The anthem for the shadowbanned. 📵💸 What do this app and a hooker have in common? Wisdom by the Moon

Wisdom by the Moon by Russell Nomer This is the anthem for the age of information overload. Tired of being drowned in a "river of raw data"? Sick of being told to "swallow every tune" from every headline? "Wisdom by the Moon" is the track you've been waiting for. This song is a perfect throwback to the intelligent, dynamic 90s alternative rock that we've all been missing. It builds from a smart, controlled verse—capturing that "too-much-information" cynicism—and then explodes into an anthemic, cathartic chorus of fuzzed-out guitars and raw, passionate vocals. It's a manifesto for critical thinkers. A call to "separate the glitter from the seam beneath the gold" and to find the courage to "prove the tale you're told." If you miss the days when rock music had something to say and made you think , this is your song. Hit play, turn it up, and share it with everyone who still values wisdom over noise. Lyrics ...

Alibi and a Shovel

Follow Russell's work Official Video It's here. "Alibi and a Shovel" is live on Spotify and Apple Music. A stranger was crying on TikTok Live about her daughter. Her name is Kay. Her daughter Seneca is 19 — moved in with a boyfriend who cut her off from her family. The story behind this song: I was on TikTok Live and saw a mom named Kay crying about her daughter Seneca. She's 19 and moved in with a boyfriend who cut her off from her family. No calls. No visits. Just silence. I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I went to the guitar and wrote what Kay was feeling because it resonated with me as a parent who would do anything for his children! It's my hope this song reaches Seneca, that she feels the lyrics, and calls her worried mother.
