Wisdom by the Moon
This is the anthem for the age of information overload.
Tired of being drowned in a "river of raw data"? Sick of being told to "swallow every tune" from every headline? "Wisdom by the Moon" is the track you've been waiting for.
This song is a perfect throwback to the intelligent, dynamic 90s alternative rock that we've all been missing. It builds from a smart, controlled verse—capturing that "too-much-information" cynicism—and then explodes into an anthemic, cathartic chorus of fuzzed-out guitars and raw, passionate vocals.
It's a manifesto for critical thinkers. A call to "separate the glitter from the seam beneath the gold" and to find the courage to "prove the tale you're told."
If you miss the days when rock music had something to say and made you think, this is your song. Hit play, turn it up, and share it with everyone who still values wisdom over noise.

They say a single morning paper holds a lifetime in a day,
A mountain of ink and ledger lines, a tidal, roaring sway.
But ink is only one small stream; before the press took hold,
Stories lived in voices, hands, and hearths — a world passed down, not sold.
Don't bow to every headline, don't swallow every tune,
A river of raw data is not wisdom by the moon.
Separate the glitter from the seam beneath the gold,
Have faith enough to listen, then prove the tale you're told.
Old proclamations praised a light of rights born clear and bright,
Yet office-holders outlast crowns and bend the people's plight.
They promise frugal cupboards, smaller frames of governance,
But power grows like ivy — roots that choke the common sense.
Don't bow to every headline, don't swallow every tune,
A river of raw data is not wisdom by the moon.
Separate the glitter from the seam beneath the gold,
Have faith enough to listen, then prove the tale you're told.
They joke about the little man who strode with mighty stride,
And say the swimming creatures blink and never keep a mind.
But truth is not the tally of the caricature you hear;
History is voiced and lived and shown — more textured than it's clear.
Beneath the counterfeit there's grain of honest, crooked truth,
A shell that nests a kernel, misread by later proof.
So sift the choir of stories — weigh the lesson, test the claim,
A wiser world is built by those who ask and then proclaim.
Don't bow to every headline, don't swallow every tune,
A river of raw data is not wisdom by the moon.
Separate the glitter from the seam beneath the gold,
Believe enough to start, then check the map you hold.
Let faith begin the question, and let inquiry refine —
Hold close the spark of confidence, but make sure it can shine.
